Our Mission

Founded in 2008, Helping Us Help Her was created to empower teenage girls with the ability to understand their purpose in life. Through practical support, developmental tools, and meaningful experiences, HUHH helps girls grow in self-worth, confidence, leadership, and personal responsibility so they can make informed choices and pursue their goals with clarity.

A school- and community-based program focused on counseling, mentoring, soft skills, and the social-emotional, behavioral, and educational growth of students ages 13–18.

Beyond the Program: Mentorship That Lasts

HUHH’s mentorship model is designed to continue supporting young women beyond their regular programming experience. The organization’s public mentorship materials describe guidance in areas such as career aspirations, communication style, leadership skills, college preparation, interview skills, resume skills, networking, online presence, and professional relationships. The goal is to help participants grow socially, professionally, and personally as they move into college and career pathways.
